Instrument Panel Upper Trim (G2112989): Removal

Make sure the air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) safe.
Refer to: STANDARD WORKSHOP PRACTICES .
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
Remove the instrument panel lower trim.
Refer to: INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM .
Remove the floor console.
Refer to: FLOOR CONSOLE .
Remove the lower glovebox.
Refer to: LOWER GLOVEBOX .
Remove the steering wheel.
Refer to: STEERING WHEEL (G1509124)
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Release the door aperture seal.

Remove the cover.

Remove the drivers side upper finisher.

- Remove the instrument panel center speaker grille.
