DTC P2B61-73: Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve Stuck Closed - Actuator stuck closed: Action
NOTE:
The variable coolant pump should NOT be replaced if this DTC is set
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Engine running
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check and install latest relevant level of software to the powertrain control module
- Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Complete a standard road test and retest to confirm if the issue is resolved. If the DTC does not reoccur, return the vehicle to the customer
- If the DTC re-occurs but vehicle does not overheat, return vehicle to the customer
- If vehicle overheats then, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, consult and follow the relevant Guided Flow. If further guidance is required, Raise a TA
