DTC P2601-4B: Coolant Pump "A" Control Circuit Performance/Stuck Off - Over temperature: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check the integrity of the auxiliary coolant pump fuse. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the auxiliary coolant pump circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new auxiliary coolant pump
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
