DTC P219F-66: Cylinder 4 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance - Signal has too many transitions/events: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Engine coolant temperature greater than 50°C
- Drive vehicle at steady load in 6th gear to achieve an engine speed of 1200 to 2400 rpm, maintain these conditions for 10 minutes (highway cruise)
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for engine misfire related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and perform the relevant corrective actions
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the fuel injector circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the spark plug for correct installation. Rectify as necessary
- Check the condition of the spark plug. Install a new spark plug as necessary
- Check the fuel injector seal for leaks. Rectify as necessary
- Check the intake manifold seal for leaks. Rectify as necessary
- Check the integrity of the fuel injector. Install a new fuel injector as necessary
- Check the integrity of the fuel rail. Install a new fuel rail as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the ignition coil circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the integrity of the ignition coil. Install a new ignition coil as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for continuously variable valve lift related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and perform the relevant corrective actions
