DTC P219E-84: Cylinder 3 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance - Signal below allowable range: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Engine coolant temperature greater than 50°C
- Drive vehicle at steady load in 6th gear to achieve an engine speed of 1200-2400rpm, maintain these conditions for 10 minutes (highway cruise)
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Check for blockage or restriction of air entering cylinder
- Check the integrity of the fuel rail. Install a new fuel rail as necessary
- Check the exhaust manifold for blockages and restrictions. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the relevant service information and check the camshaft profile switching system. Rectify as necessary
- Install a new fuel injector
- Refer to the relevant service information and check the valve train components. Rectify as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
