DTC P2176-54: Throttle Actuator "A" Control System - Idle Position Not Learned - Missing calibration: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Ignition off. Ignition on. Wait 60 seconds. Start engine, adaption will be performed if entry conditions are present
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the powertrain control module for electric throttle related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and perform the relevant corrective actions
- Refer to the relevant service information and check the battery. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the relevant service information and check the charging system. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the direct current to direct current converter for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Allow powertrain control module to power down. Switch on ignition and wait for 60 seconds. Start engine, this will allow new throttle adaption data to be stored
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest. If the fault persists, install a new electric throttle
