DTC P0A0F-07: Engine Failed To Start - Mechanical failures: Action
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - Service/Select CCF/Copy from AS BUILT
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the starter solenoid circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the starter motor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Test the starter motor for correct operation. Follow all the instructions in the starter motor testing procedure. For additional information, Refer to: STARTER MOTOR TESTING - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL Only replace the starter motor when it is diagnosed as being faulty or inoperative
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the camshaft sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the crankshaft sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
