DTC P0703-62: Brake Switch "B" Circuit - Signal compare failure: Action
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check the installation of the brake pedal switch. Rectify as necessary
- Remove and reinstall the brake pedal switch
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the brake pedal switch circuits for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new brake pedal switch
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
