PHEV Battery Coolant Radiator (G2756435): Removal
WARNING:
Injury such as scalding could be caused by escaping steam or coolant. Make sure the vehicle cooling system is cool prior to carrying out this procedure.
CAUTION:
Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- Disconnect the 12 V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

This procedure involves work on components associated with the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to EVCP level or higher are allowed to complete this procedure.
- Drain the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) battery cooling system.

- Remove the front bumper.
Refer to: FRONT BUMPER
- Remove the 6 screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the lower active grille air shutter.
- Release the 4 retaining clips.
- Release the coolant pipe.
Release the PHEV battery coolant radiator from the 2 left side retaining clips.
Release the PHEV battery coolant radiator from the 2 right side retaining clips.
- Disconnect the 2 coolant pipes.
- Remove the PHEV battery coolant radiator.
