Oil Pump Drive Chain - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2397984): Removal

NOTE:

  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING

  2. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  3. Remove the oil pan.

    Refer to: OIL PAN - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL

    • Use the special tool to hold the oil pump drive sprocket.

      Special Tool(s): 205-053 

    • Remove and discard the bolt.
    • Remove the oil pump drive chain and sprocket.
