Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G2423944): Removal
NOTE:

- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
- Partially drain the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
Disconnect the 3 coolant hose connectors.
Disconnect the 2 coolant hose connectors.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipe.
Release the 2 coolant hose clips.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooler.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the clip.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the charge air cooler coolant pump.
- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Release the clip.

NOTE: Take care not to damage the surrounding components.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the electric cooling fan and shroud at the 3 clips.
