Right Upper Arm (G1605919): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles 

1. • Install the upper arm.
   • Install the 2 bolts.
2. Install and tighten the upper arm rear nut.

   Torque  : 60 Nm 

3. Install and tighten the upper arm front nut.

   Torque  : 60 Nm 

4. NOTE: Left illustration shown, right is similar.

   Install the upper arm into the knuckle.

5. NOTE: Make sure the upper arm to knuckle retaining bolt is securely seated on the groove of the ball joint pin.

   Install the upper arm to knuckle nut and bolt.

   Renew Part: Front suspension upper arm ball joint to knuckle nut and bolt  Quantity: 1  .

   Torque  : 70 Nm 

6. Install the height sensor.

The following step(s) applies to: 

Vehicles with fuel fired booster heater 

1. Install the Fuel Fired Booster Heater (FFBH).

   Refer to: FUEL FIRED BOOSTER HEATER

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles 

1. Install the front right wheel and tire.

   Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE

2. Install the right air filter housing.

   Refer to: RIGHT AIR CLEANER

3. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, fully pressurize the air suspension system.

   Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM DEPRESSURIZE AND PRESSURIZE

4. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate the suspension ride height.
