Front Lower Arm (G1548987): Installation

NOTE:
- This step is only required if the vehicle is not installed with the protective shields.
- Install the protective shields to both sides of the front lower arm bush.

Install the protective shields as shown.

Renew Part: Protective shield (If Required) Quantity: 2 .
CAUTION:
- Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
- Make sure that a new nut is installed.

Renew Part: Front lower control arm nut Quantity: 1 .

Torque : 290 Nm
CAUTION:
- Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
- Make sure that a new bolt and nut installed.

Renew Part: Front lower control arm nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .

Torque

Stage 1: 100 Nm

Stage 2: 360°

Torque : 10 Nm
Using a suitable transmission jack, support the component while tightening the nuts and bolts at normal ride height.

General Equipment: Transmission jack
Remove the transmission jack.
