Image Processing Module 'A'

The IPMA is located above the Rear View Mirror (RVM). The IPMA uses the forward facing cameras to scan the road ahead. The information is shared with the Adaptive Speed Control Module (ASCM) to improve the function of the adaptive cruise control. The IPMA communicates with the ASCM on the private CAN bus.
