- The Electric Park Brake (EPB)
- Wheel chocks.
The ZF 8HP76 transmission external controls comprise:
- A Transmission Control Switch (TCS)
- 2 steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The TCS transmits driver transmission selections to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The paddle switches allow the driver to initiate gear shifts in the following transmission modes:
- Drive (D)

The EPR system makes sure that the transmission park lock remains disengaged during vehicle recovery operations.
