Emergency Park Release (G2320897): Check

WARNING: Chock the wheels and make sure that all personnel are clear of the vehicle before carrying out the following procedure.
NOTE:
  • The ignition must be switched off.
  • This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  • The operating lever should only be moved in the direction as shown.
  1. Remove the engine cover.

    Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I6 3.0L PETROL

  2. NOTE:
    • Use a suitable tool to move the operating lever as illustrated shown.
    • A flashing "N" symbol appears on the information and message center to signify the Emergency Park Release (EPR) is activated.

    Disengage the park lock.
