Pinpoint Test E: Transmission Shift Quality
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- E1: DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHECK
- Using the JLR
approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - Read DTC
. Check for DTC
in the following control modules:
- Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Are there DTC
in the above modules?
Yes:
Refer to the relevant DTC
index and perform the relevant corrective actions. Perform a road test and re-assess the quality of the gear shift. If the gear shift concern is still present GO to PINPOINT TEST F .. If the gear shift concern has now been corrected return the vehicle to the customer.
No:
GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
