Transmission Cooling (G2165594): Overview

Transmission cooling and warming is provided by an Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooler, which transfers heat from the transmission to the engine cooling system. The flow of the ATF is controlled by an electric engine coolant pump and two one way valves.
