Symptom Possible Causes Action
Electric vehicle warning indicator illuminated
  • Electric vehicle system fault
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the following control modules for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC indices:
    • Battery charger control module
    • Battery energy control module
    • Brake booster module
    • Direct current to direct current converter
    • Electric power inverter converter module
    • Powertrain control module
    • Transmission control module
Startup battery discharged
  • Charging system fault
  • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the direct current to direct current converter for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
NOTE: The direct current to direct current converter cooling system is incorporated into the engine cooling system.
Direct current to direct current converter system cooling system leak
  • Coolant hoses
  • Coolers
  • Electric power inverter converter coolant pump
  • Direct current to direct current converter internal coolant leak
WARNING: The direct current to direct current converter casing must not be disassembled due to the risk of exposure to hazardous voltage. Failure to comply with this instruction may result in personal injury or death.
  • Refer to the appropriate service information and check the cooling system. Repair the leak as necessary
