The PHEV battery onboard charger is located under the floor pan between the front and rear axle on the left side.

The PHEV battery onboard charger is cooled by the engine coolant system. The high voltage cooling system has an electric coolant pump controlled by the Electric Power Inverter Converter (EPIC) to circulate the engine coolant. An inlet and outlet pipe are connected to the cooling system to allow the circulation of engine coolant through the PHEV battery onboard charger.

The PHEV battery onboard charger has a pressure equalization pipe connected to the body and the other open end mounted high in the engine compartment. This allows for the equalization of pressure between the inside and outside of the PHEV battery onboard charger.
