ITEM DESCRIPTION
1 Mounting Rubber (4 Of)
2 Exhaust Valve
3 Rear Silencer
4 Hanger Bracket (4 Of)

Two pipes from the front silencer connect directly into the center Helmholtz resonators. The Helmholtz resonator houses perforated tubes separated by baffle plates and it is specifically tuned to reduce a specific tuned acoustic frequency in the exhaust system. Exhaust gasses exit the resonators via two outlet pipes. Each pipe has a welded hanger bracket which allow the rear section to be supported on mounting rubbers. A further bracket is welded to each pipe which braces the two pipes together.

The system is a one piece construction therefore all the silencer boxes are welded in to the design. There are no clamps on the system other than two securing the downpipe assemblies to it.

The fabricated rear silencers have two perforated tubes which are supported on two baffle plates. The exhaust gasses are expelled from the rear silencer via a single outlet pipe. The outlet pipe from each silencer has a welded hanger bar which supports the rear silencer on mounting rubbers. The outlet pipe is fitted with a polished stainless steel finisher. The tailpipe finishers are welded on to tailpipe.

The rear section is fitted with an electric exhaust valve which is operated by the engine control module (ECM) to create more of a sportier sound.
