Rear Silencer - Vehicles With: SVR (G2164832): Removal

WARNING: Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
With assistance, remove the rear bumper.
Refer to: REAR BUMPER

Disconnect the electrical connector.
CAUTION:
- Left side only.
- Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable retaining straps.

Using the special tool, cut the exhaust pipe at the marked position.

Special Tool(s): 100-051

- Right side only.
- Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable retaining straps.

Remove the rear silencer.
