Front Muffler (G1509423): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

SVA/SVR Vehicles 

1. • Install the 2 new exhaust clamp.

     Renew Part: Front exhaust clamp  Quantity: 2  .

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles 

1. WARNING: Make sure that any corrosion or dirt is removed from the mating surfaces.
   • Install the rear silencer to the exhaust pipe.
   • Install and tighten the exhaust clamp finger tight.
2. • Install the front muffler.
   • Install the 2 exhaust center mounting rubbers.
   • Install the 4 exhaust rear mounting rubbers.
3. • Tighten the exhaust clamp nuts.

     Torque  : 55 Nm

   • Position the rear silencer in the correct position as illustrated and fully tighten the exhaust clamp.

     Torque  : 40 Nm
