Service Precautions
WARNING:
- To prevent any unexpected operation of the brake booster, the 'Manufacturing brake mode' must be enabled using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment before all brake repair and wheel alignment procedure.
- Do not use the brake depressor tool before 'Manufacturing brake mode' activation. The brake booster can operate and move the brake depressor tool which can cause damage in the seat structure.
NOTE:
The electric power supply for the brake booster is provided by the auxiliary battery. This connection provides that the brake booster remains functional in the event of an electrical failure in the main power supply system.
