Anti-Trap Mechanism

The roof opening panel has an anti-trap protection function which stops the roof opening panel from closing if an obstruction is sensed. When an obstruction is sensed, the roof opening panel motor automatically retracts the panel. This method prevents serious injury or damage to the roof opening panel assembly. When the obstruction is removed, you can close the roof opening panel by using the normal method. The anti-trap mechanism can be overridden to allow the roof opening panel to be closed when movement is restricted by dirt. To override the anti-trap mechanism, operate and hold the front of the roof opening panel switch until the roof opening panel reaches the closed position.
