Gesture Roof Blind

The gesture roof blind feature is fitted to all vehicles with roof panel assembly. The gesture roof blind sensor is located behind the front overhead console which has 2 operating zones. The front to back motion is detected and used to open the roof blind. The back to front motion is detected and used to close the roof blind.

The gesture roof blind sensor communicates with the Body Control Module/Gateway Module (BCM/GWM) assembly over a Local Interconnection Network (LIN) bus connection. The BCM/GWM assembly sends an open or close signal to the roof opening panel control module over a LIN bus connection.
