Lower Arm - [+] Air Suspension (G2167014): Installation

    1. Install the lower arm.
    2. Connect the air spring.
    3. Renew the nut and bolt.

      Renew Part: Rear lower arm to subframe nut and bolt  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 100 Nm 

      Stage 2: 240°

    • Connect the lower arm.
    • Renew the nut and bolt.

      Renew Part: Rear lower arm to subframe nut and bolt  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 100 Nm 

      Stage 2: 240° 

  3. Install the heatshield.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

    • Connect the wheel knuckle.
    • Install and tighten a new nut and bolt.

      Renew Part: Wheel knuckle nut and bolt  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 70 Nm 

      Stage 2: 240° 

    • Connect the integral link.
    • Renew the nut and bolt.

      Renew Part: Integral link nuts and bolts  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 50 Nm 

      Stage 2: 180° 

  4. CAUTION: Use a wrench on the hexagon provided to prevent the ball joint rotating.
    • Connect the stabilizer bar link.
    • Renew the nut.

      Renew Part: Stabilizer bar link lower nut  Quantity: 1  .

      Torque  : 185 Nm 

  5. Connect the suspension height sensor link.
  6. NOTE: Vehicles without PHEV  .

    Install the fuel tank.

    Refer to: FUEL TANK - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol

    Refer to: FUEL TANK - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL

  7. Using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment complete the air suspension manual control procedure.

    Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION - MANUAL CONTROL PROCEDURE

  8. Install the wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE

  9. Lower the vehicle to the floor.
  10. Using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment pressurize the rear spring.

    Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM DEPRESSURIZE AND PRESSURIZE

  11. Using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment configure the suspension ride height.

    Refer to: RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
