| 4 | Wiring harness connector |
The Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter electric cooling fan is located in the DC/DC converter housing. The DC/DC converter electric cooling fan is attached to the upper MHEV battery housing 2 studs with 2 nuts.
The DC/DC converter electric cooling fan is hardwired to the DC/DC converter. The DC/DC converter electric cooling fan has a 4-pin wiring harness connector on a fly lead. The 4-pin connector has the following electrical connections:
- Power supply from the DC/DC converter.
- Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal from the DC/DC converter.
- A ground through the DC/DC converter.
The duty cycle of the PWM signal from the DC/DC converter controls the speed of the DC/DC converter electric cooling fan.

| 1 | Inlet air duct to the Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter housing |
| 2 | Inlet air duct - DC/DC converter electric cooling fan to the DC/DC converter |
| 3 | DC/DC converter housing |
| 4 | DC/DC converter electric cooling fan |
| 5 | Inlet air duct - Air inlet to the DC/DC converter electric cooling fan |
| 6 | Outlet air from the DC/DC converter housing |
The air inlet for the cooling air for the Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter is below the front row seat - right.
The inlet air duct directs the air from the passenger compartment to the DC/DC converter electric cooling fan.
The outlet air duct directs the air from the DC/DC converter electric cooling fan to the DC/DC converter. The air from the electric cooling fan cools the DC/DC converter when required. The outlet air after cooling the DC/DC converter exits the DC/DC converter housing below the right front row seat into the passenger compartment.
