Service Information

  1. To assist with diagnosis of the engine rattle, listen/watch the video.
    1. If the vehicle symptoms match those in the video, continue to the service instruction.
    2. If the vehicle symptoms do not match those in the video, do not continue with this procedure. Continue diagnosis using the repair information article refer to: ENGINE - INGENIUM I6 3.0L PETROL (G2718608)

  1. To assist with diagnosis, the image shows the loose VVT actuator bolt(s) on the inlet camshaft.
