The startup battery is located in the loadspace below the loadspace floor at the rear. The startup battery is secured in position with a clamp plate and a bolt assembly.
The startup battery is an H8 90 Ah, 850 CCA Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery.
The startup battery negative terminal has the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) control module located on it. The startup battery positive terminal connector contains the mega fuse and is connected to the Battery Junction Box (BJB).
