MHEV Battery Cooling

The MHEV battery is air cooled to regulate the internal MHEV battery module temperatures. The Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) controls the MHEV battery internal temperature by the operation of the MHEV battery electric cooling fan. The BECM determines the cooling requirements for the MHEV battery and sends a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal to the MHEV battery electric cooling fan. The BECM sends a PWM duty cycle signal to the MHEV battery electric cooling fan based on the following:
