Lower Arm - [+] MHEV (G2339894): Removal
CAUTION:
The suspension arm nuts and bolts must be tightened with the suspension arms in the normal ride position. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature failure of the bush.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Before replacing the lower arm, make sure to have followed the diagnosis and testing procedure.

- Use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to depressurize the rear air spring.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the rear wheel and tire.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE
- Remove the fuel tank.
Refer to: FUEL TANK
Disconnect the suspension height sensor link.
- Remove and discard the stabilizer bar link nut.
- Reposition the stabilizer bar link.
Remove and discard the upper integral link nut and bolt.
Remove and discard the lower arm to wheel knuckle nut and bolt.
Remove and discard the rear lower arm to subframe nut and bolt.
- Release the air spring.
- Remove and discard the front lower arm to subframe nut and bolt.
- Remove the lower arm.
