Pinpoint Test C: Transmission Shift Quality

  1. C1: DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHECK 
    1. Using the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - Read DTC  . Check for DTC  in the following control module:
      • GWM 

      Are there DTC  in the above modules?

      Yes  : Refer to the relevant DTC  index and perform the relevant corrective actions. Perform a road test and re-assess the quality of the gear shift. If the gear shift concern is still present GO to PINPOINT TEST F . If the gear shift concern has now been corrected return the vehicle to the customer.

      No:  GO to PINPOINT TEST F .

    Possible Cause Cluster of DTC  System/Module to Investigate
    GWM 
    • U0300-46 - Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility (calibration/parameter memory failure)
    • U3000-04 - Control module (system internal failures)
    		 GWM
