On vehicles with InControl© Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, the Interactive Control Display Module (ICDM) is installed to the instrument panel. The auto stop/start soft key can be accessed from the 'Vehicle' menu on the ICDM. When the driver enables or disables the auto stop/start system, the request is transmitted from the ICDM to the BCM /GWM . The request message is transmitted through the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) comfort systems bus.
