- D1: VERIFY THE CUSTOMERS CONCERN
- Confirm if the customers concern is intermittent after a cold engine start-up or extremely cold conditions
Does the concern occur after a cold start-up or during extremely cold conditions?
Yes: This is a feature operation of the system to preserve and assist the battery charging after cold start or during extremely cold conditions, due to the smart charging feature the system will resume normal operation after the recovery of the charging system. The symptom can also be first noticed in the rear climate seats (if installed) then the front passenger seat and then the drivers seat, this is also a system feature to assist with the drivers concentration and comfort. No further action required, refer the customer to Jaguar Land Rover owner information for Climate Seats and review the system operation with the customer.
No: GO to D2.
