Cooling Module (G2135459): Installation

  1. CAUTION: This step must be carried out with the assistance of another technician.

    Install the cooling module.

  2. CAUTION: Make sure that the cooling module is supported for this step.

    Install the right cooling module bracket.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  3. CAUTION: Make sure that the cooling module is supported for this step.

    Install the left cooling module bracket.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  4. Connect the Air Conditioning (AC) pipes.

    Torque  : 20 Nm 

  5. Connect the charge air cooler radiator upper hose.
  6. Connect and secure the auxiliary coolant pump.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  7. Connect the auxiliary coolant pump electrical connector.

    Secure the coolant hoses.

    Connect and secure the coolant hoses.

  10. Connect the electrical connectors.
  11. Install the radiator support brackets.

    Torque  : 9 Nm 

  12. Connect the upper coolant hose and pipe.
  13. Install the air ducts.
  14. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  15. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING 

  16. Install the front bumper.

    Refer to: FRONT BUMPER - VEHICLES WITH: CORE SPECIFICATION

  17. Recharge the AC system.

    Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING
