Left Turbocharger (G2131201): Installation

- Install a new stud to the turbocharger.
  Renew Part: Exhaust manifold to turbocharger studs Quantity: 3 .
  
  Torque : 13 Nm
- Install 2 new studs to the exhaust manifold.
  Torque : 13 Nm
- Install a new gasket.
  Renew Part: Turbocharger coolant pipes to turbocharger gasket Quantity: 1 .
- Install the coolant pipes.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install a new gasket.
  Renew Part: Turbocharger to exhaust manifold gasket Quantity: 1 .
- Install the turbocharger.
- Install and tighten the 3 new nuts.
  Special Tool(s): 303-1069
  
  Renew Part: Exhaust manifold to turbocharger nuts Quantity: 2 .
  
  Torque : 24 Nm
Install the exhaust manifold heatshield.
Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the turbocharger coolant supply and return pipe.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the new oil return pipe.
  Renew Part: Turbocharger oil return pipe Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the turbocharger support bracket.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the turbocharger.
- Connect the electrical connector to the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) sensor.
- Install the left engine mount bracket.
- Install and tighten the 4 new bolts.
  Renew Part: Engine mounting bracket to engine bolts Quantity: 4 .
  
  Torque : 115 Nm
- Install and tighten the new nut.
  Renew Part: Engine mount to engine mount bracket nut Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque : 60 Nm

- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the special tools.
  Special Tool(s): 303-1129
- Remove the special tool.
  Special Tool(s): 303-021
Install the clean air intake pipe to the turbocharger.
Torque : 10 Nm
Install the charger air cooler pipe to the turbocharger.
Torque : 10 Nm
- Install a new washer.
  Renew Part: Turbocharger oil feed pipe banjo bolt washers Quantity: 1 .
- Install the oil supply pipe to the turbocharger.
  Torque : 30 Nm
Install the exhaust manifold cross-over pipe.
Refer to: EXHAUST MANIFOLD CROSS-OVER PIPE
Install the left EGR valve.
Refer to: LEFT EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE
Install the DPF .
Refer to: CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER ASSEMBLY
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
If a new component has been installed, configure using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
