Fixed Vane Turbocharger Actuator (G2131204): Removal
NOTE:

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
The following step(s) applies to:
Right-hand drive vehicles

CAUTION: Discard the bolts.
Remove the 2 retaining bolts from the steering column lower shaft universal joint.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles

NOTE: Remove and discard the gasket.
Remove the 2 exhaust retaining bolts and reposition the exhaust pipe.
- Release the 2 retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the 2 retaining nuts.
- Remove the 2 retaining bolts.

NOTE: Remove and discard the gasket.
Remove the exhaust cross-over pipe from the turbocharger.
- Remove the 4 retaining bolts.
- Remove the turbocharger heatshield.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the actuator hose.
- Remove the 2 retaining clips and the retaining bolt.
- Remove the fixed vane turbocharger actuator heatshield.

CAUTION: Make sure component mating faces are not damaged during removal.

- Remove the 4 retaining bolts, in the sequence shown.
- Remove the fixed vane turbocharger actuator.
Remove and discard the actuator gasket, noting the gasket orientation.
Remove and discard the actuator gasket.
