Brake Disc (G2049159): Installation

  1. Clean the brake disc using brake cleaning fluid.
    CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

  2. Install the rear brake disc.

    Torque  : 35 Nm 

  3. Install the brake caliper anchor plate.
    NOTE: Install new brake caliper anchor plate retaining bolts.

    Torque  : 110 Nm 

    • Connect the brake pad wear indicator sensor.
    • Connect the electric parking brake electrical connector.
  5. Install the rear wheel and tire.

  6. Depress the brake pedal several times, check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top-up with brake fluid if necessary.
  7. Calibrate the electric park brake (EPB) using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
