Brake Booster - Left Hand Drive (G2135340): Installation

    • Install the brake booster.
    • Connect the brake booster vacuum pipe to the brake booster.
    • Secure the brake pipes in the retaining clip.
  2. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that new nuts are installed.
    • Make sure that a new pin is installed.
    • Tighten the brake pedal mounting nuts to the specified torque.

      Renew Part: Brake pedal mounting nut(s) Quantity: 1  .

      Torque  : 25 Nm 

    • Install the brake booster push rod retaining clip.

      Renew Part: Retaining clip Quantity: 1  .

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the trim panel.
  5. Install the brake master cylinder.

    Refer to: BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER

  6. Install the left side secondary bulkhead panel.

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL

  7. Bleed the brake system.

    Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM PRESSURE BLEEDING
