Engine Oil Vacuum Draining And Filling (G2152248): Filling

NOTE:
- Install new O-ring seals.
- Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.

Install a new oil filter element and the O-ring seals.

Renew Part: Oil filter Quantity: 1 .

Renew Part: Oil filter O-ring seal(s) Quantity: 1 .
CAUTION: Tighten the component finger tight first.

- Install the oil filter element and tighten to the correct torque.
  Torque : 25 Nm
- Fill the engine with oil - for filling values on vehicles with supercharger:
  Refer to: ENGINE - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL
- Clean any residual engine oil from the oil filler cap area.

Install the oil filler cap.
- Start the engine and allow to run for 10 minutes, stop the engine.
- Check for leaks.
- Allow 10 minutes for the engine oil level to stabilize.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that the selector lever and the gearshift mechanism are in the park (P) position.
- Make sure that the hood is open.
- Set the ignition to the ON position.
- Press the selection switch to access the instrument cluster menu. Select Vehicle Information.
- Select Oil Level.
- Press the speed control cancel button twice within 2 seconds. This will display the oil level.
- If necessary, top up with engine oil.
- Set the ignition to the OFF position.
Install the engine cover.
