The crankshaft is manufactured from forged carbon steel with induction hardened main and pin bearing journals.
A 6 dynamic balancer design has been used to reduce vibration.
An oil grove in the upper half of each main bearing transfers the oil into the crankshaft for lubrication of the connecting rod bearings.
