Rear Silencer (G1913691): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components are the same.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the 2 exhaust bracket hangers.
- Release the exhaust clamp nut and remove the rear silencer assembly from the vehicle.

- Remove and discard the rear exhaust clamp.
- The rear exhaust clamp is spot welded into position and will require removal with the use of a grinder or a drill.
NOTE:
- Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
- If equipped.

Remove the damper from the rear silencer assembly.
