Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION System

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is used to control the amount of exhaust gas being recirculated in order to reduce exhaust emissions and combustion noise. EGR operation is calibrated and could operate at sub-zero ambient temperature as well as transient conditions.
