Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Valve

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve motor is located on the valve housing. A 5 pin connector provides the power supply, ground and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) signal and feedback connections for the motor.
The motor is controlled by the PCM which provides power to operate the motor as required. A 5 Volt feedback signal is passed to the PCM which is used to establish motor position for precise control.
