Rear Section

The rear section is divided into right side and left side rear silencer assemblies and the exhaust gases are expelled from each rear silencer via a single outlet pipe. There are two different outlet pipes available depending on the trim level of the vehicle. One directs the exhaust gases downwards and away from the rear of the vehicle. The other directs the exhaust gases through the bumper via a collector.

Each rear silencer is supported by two rubber mountings. One is attached to a mounting welded on the side of the rear subframe and the other is attached to a bracket welded to the vehicle body.
