Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G2058541): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Drain the coolant system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

Disconnect the coolant pump electrical connector.

Release the auxiliary coolant pump.
Lower the vehicle.

Remove the 8 push pins.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the surrounding components.

Remove the radiator grille.

Remove the air intake duct.

Remove the air deflector.

Disconnect the radiator upper hose.

Disconnect the radiator bleed hose.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.

Remove the radiator brackets.

Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud securing brackets.

Release the coolant hoses.

Remove the cooling fan assembly.

Remove wiring harness.
