Coolant Pump - Charge Air Cooler (G2116872): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
Drain the coolant system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

- Release the 2 hose clamps.
- Remove the clean air outlet tube.

- Release the coolant hose clip.
- Release the 7 clips.
- Remove the dirty air duct.

Disconnect the charge air cooler coolant pump electrical connector.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the lower charge air cooler coolant pump hose and reposition away from the pump assembly.
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

Release the upper charge air cooler coolant pump hose and reposition away from the pump assembly.

Remove the charge air cooler coolant pump and bracket from the vehicle.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the charge air cooler coolant pump bracket from the pump assembly.
