High Pressure Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Valve (G1947548): Installation

- Install the high pressure EGR valve into the correct position.
- Tighten the upper bolt (1) to the correct torque.
  Torque : 12 Nm
- Tighten the lower bolt and stud (2) to the correct torque.
  Torque : 7 Nm
Install the EGR pipe and tighten to the correct torque. Make sure a new gasket is installed.
Renew Part: EGR inlet pipe to EGR valve gasket Quantity: 1 .

Torque : 12 Nm
Install the 2 high pressure EGR valve coolant hoses.
Connect the electrical connector for the high pressure valve.
NOTE: Vehicles with EU5/6 emissions only
- Install a new gasket.
  Renew Part: Exhaust gas recirculation outlet pipe to exhaust gas recirculation valve gasket Quantity: 1 .
- Install a new O-ring seal.
  Renew Part: Exhaust gas recirculation pipe to intake manifold O-ring seal Quantity: 1 .
- Install the EGR crossover pipe and tight to the correct torque.
  Torque
  
  EGR pipe to EGR valve retaining bolts: 12 Nm
  
  EGR pipe to manifold retaining bolts: 7 Nm
NOTE: Vehicles with EU4 emissions only

Install the high pressure EGR cooler.

Fill and bleed the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
Install the secondary bulkhead left panel.
