Left Engine Mount (G2130815): Removal

NOTE:

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

General Equipment: 2 post lift
Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
Remove the thermostat.
Refer to: THERMOSTAT

Release the vacuum pipe.
CAUTION:
- Support the engine on a jack. The angle may need to be adjusted during this procedure.
- Use a wooden block to protect the oil pan when supporting the engine.

Using a suitable hydraulic jack, raise and support the engine.

General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)
NOTE: If equipped.

Release the ground cable and reposition away from the engine mount.

Remove the engine mount retaining nut.

Remove the 2 engine mount retaining bolts.

Remove the 4 engine mount bracket bolts and then remove the engine mount bracket.
NOTE: Note the fitted position.

Remove the engine mount bracket.
NOTE:
- This step is only required if a new engine mount is to be installed.
- This step only applies to L560 vehicles manufactured up to 10/2020.

Remove and discard the article of active engine mount vacuum hose.
